Big News

Well these past couple of days have been very fun! Blake and I are now an Aunt and Uncle to our niece. My brother and his wife had their baby yesterday around 4:30. Her name is Chloe and she was 7 pounds and 11 ounces and 20 inches long. The mom and baby are both doing great. They will out of the hospital by Saturday. The baby is too cute and I don't think that my brother is excited about changing diapers just yet! But I'm sure he will get used to since that is all he will be doing for the next 2 years! Here is a picture of Chloe Laiden Pearson! This is right after she was born and my brother, Cody, is holding her! Isn't she just adorable!

Also these past couple of days we have been getting a lot of snow. So much that Blake didn't even have to work the past 2 days because Fort Lewis had snow on the roads and they didn't want people driving. So that is fun! Our dog Daisy loves the snow she likes to run through it or hop i should say! But she also likes to put her nose in the snow! It is real cute! Here is a picture of Blake in front of our apartment as the snow was falling!Next week is Christmas and Jan, LaMar, and Andrew will be coming up here to Seattle so we are super excited to see them. We will miss the rest of our families that we cant be with this year. But we will see you soon! If I don't get back on here until after Christmas then............

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We Love You

Sorry its been so long

So I know that I haven't posted anything since August so I guess I should feel you in on the past couple of months. Since August we moved into a different apartment. Same town though. Halloween was a lot of fun for us, it was my birthday and we went to a costume party too. We went as Barney and Betty Rubble! We had a lot of fun and stayed out way too late! Alabama football is doing great this year! We are #1 right now with an 11-0 record. So Blake, Daisy and I wear our jerseys every Saturday for the games! We cant wait for the Auburn game in two weeks! We pray that we will win because Alabama has lost to Auburn for the past 6 years and we hate them! :) Blake and I are going to Alabama for Thanksgiving and we are so excited! This will be the last time we see my parents for a while. Because we will not be able to go home for Christmas. We are staying here in Washington this year because Blake's leave days got screwed up so we wouldn't have enough days to go to Alabama and to Missouri. So to be fair we are staying here. But LaMar, Jan, and Andrew are coming up here for Christmas and we cannot wait to see them. Oh yeah I have a job now! yay!! I babysit 3 days a week for a 3 year old girl named Natalie. She has such a personality on her! Also Blake has a deployment date now, it is August 9, 2009. He is so excited to be going overseas to fight! We just pray that he will be safe! He is getting a little nervous since Obama was elected President Blake doesn't know if he will be going for sure! So maybe Obama wont screw up this country too bad! Blake really wants to go over there so maybe he will! Well I guess that is about it, that's everything for the past couple of months! I promise that I will try to do better on keeping the blog updated! Here are some pictures from the last couple of months!!!

It's been a year

Well it has now been a year since Blake and I got married! I cannot believe that time can fly by so quickly. We went to Olive Garden because it was where our first date was. We then came home and cut the top of our wedding cake and ate it! It was still good actually! I wanted to thank everyone who has prayed for us this past year, and helped with the wedding! We just moved into our new apartment this past weekend so I will be blogging about that later!

It's been a while

Well I haven't been on here lately. When Blake and I got back from Missouri we had a lot to do. We now know where we will be moving to, and that is a blessing. I was only home for 2 weeks until I had to come back to Alabama for one of my best friend's wedding, Nicole. She looked beautiful on her wedding day. It sure took me back to the day Blake and I got married. I cant believe that it has almost been a year! Crazy how time can fly by! I am still in Alabama and I will be leaving Saturday. Blake has been out in the field for the past two weeks, which is why I stayed so long here. I am ready to get back and to see him! I miss him bunches but I would rather be here with my family while he is out in the field. I will be going home Saturday and our anniversary is Monday. So I will probably have a new post on Tuesday with pictures and letting you know how our 1st anniversary went!

Missouri

I know I am a little late at posting our lastest blog but....

We had a great time in Missouri. We got in Saturday night and on Sunday we got up went to church ate some lunch with Jan, LaMar, MawMaw, MawMaw Jeanie, and Aunt Jen. That was fun! We then went to Blake's dad's side of the family! We had fun at MawMaw Flo's house, everybody was there and it was so good to see them! Blake and I just took it easy while in Missouri! We went and saw the movie Wanted with Angelina Jolie and Blake LOVED the movie... I wonder why? :) We went bowling and saw Hancock too! Then of course we saw TINA! Yes I got some new purses and some new wallets! I love Tina time! And it was fun to see her and her kids again! We had a blast in Missouri and cant wait to go back. Which will probably be Christmas! But here are a few pictures! By the way Jan made that American Flag dessert for Blake! It was so cute and so yummy!

Alabama

Blake and I had a great time in Alabama. We got to see our friends and my family. My mom's birthday is July 4th, so we went to the biscuits game on the 2nd for her and we watched the fireworks! We do this every year! Alabama was hot and we were loving it! We stayed in the pool a lot. but we didn't mind! :) Blake went out with the boys one night and i stayed home with my parents and some of the girlfriends! We had a lot of fun and was sad to leave. But now we are in Missouri and i will update on that when we get back to Washington!

Here are some pictures of the 4th. I was burnt so i put on a t-shirt hoping that Blake would not put me under water.... but he did! And the other one is a picture of one of my best friends, Leigh Walker!

Bret Michaels!

Well Friday night Blake, I and another couple went to the Bret Michaels concert at the Emerald Queen Casino. We had $20 a piece and we decided to try our hand at the slot machines before going to the concert. We had been saving some change here and there for the last couple of months just to gamble with. But Blake and I are not good at the slot machines! We both lost our $20. But our friend went in with $30 and came out with $139. He got lucky! :) But on to the concert! It was so much fun! There were a lot of older women though that were screaming and holding up signs! We thought it was pretty funny! We werent allowed to take pictures but I snuck some in anyways! I couldnt go to the concert and not take some pictures right?!

Daisy

Well yesterday Blake and I got a dog! She is so cute! She is a Maltipoo which is a Maltese and Poodle mixed! Her name is Daisy and she is the sweetest thing! She loves to sit in the chair with Blake and watch TV. We got her groomed today and put a little bow in her hair! The pictures are of Blake with Daisy in his lap, and her yesterday, and today when she finally got groomed!

Good Job Blake! Happy Graduation!

Well it is finally over and Blake did it! He passed Sniper School on Thursday June 5th. It was pretty cool! The class started out with 43 people and 33 graduated. Jan came up on Wednesday and surprised Blake. I told him I was going to the PX with my friend Hope and it took me like an hour to get back. He kept texting me, asking where I was and how much longer. But when I came home I had a little something for him..... his Mom! He was so excited! We spent the weekend hanging out and shopping! We had so much fun and I know that Blake was excited to get 4 days off!

Going Back to College

This past Tuesday I started school again. When Blake and I got married I had 2 more years left of school with Faulkner. Since we have been here I have been telling Blake that I wanted to back to school. So I finally bit the bullet and registered with Troy University. They are based out of Troy, Alabama. And I am taking online classes. I am currently taking Classical Mythology, Into to Sociology, Physical Science, Physical Science Lab, and Speech. I am hoping to have my degree in 8 to 10 months.

Memorial Day

Well today was Memorial Day and a fun one it was! It started out with us having to get Blake's oil changed since it was 1,000 miles overdue!

We actually did have a good memorial day, we had our friends BJ & Hope and their daughter Dailyn come over. They are from Montgomery and BJ was stationed here. Hope and I met online through myspace last October and we have been friends ever since. Dailyn is 14 months and she is the cutest little girl. But she isn't a fan of Blake. Which is very weird, because all kids usually like Blake, but I think that Dailyn is just a Momma's girl. So today Blake and BJ grilled steaks for us! The food was delicious and it was so good to be able to spend some time with friends since we couldn't be with our family!

But speaking of memorial day I saw this quote and I think that it truly describe what today is actually about!

"Memorial Day
A day to remember
True American heroes
Gone but NEVER forgotton"

Sniper School

Yesterday was the first day of Sniper School here in Washington. Blake is officially in the class so we dont have to worry about that anymore. But he still have to pass everything that comes along in the class. So keep praying for him. He will be going to work very early and not coming home until very late everyday for a month. He only gets 3 Sunday's off this whole month. But I know that he is so excited about getting his Bravo 4. If he does well in the class (which he will) his graduation date will be June 6th. So I will be taking pictures on graduation day and will post them.

New Blog layout

Well my friend from back home Leigh started blogging and she had this really cute background. I was a little jealous because I didn't see that when I started to blog so I found out where she got it and when I went there I found this background and I thought that it just fit us so perfect. The background is actually Seattle. We live about 45 minutes south of Seattle. The big tall thing is the Space Needle. This is a revolving restaurant. It takes 44 minutes to make a complete circle. It is an amazing view when you are up there. So if you ever want to come up for a visit Blake and I will take you! Promise!

Cirque du Soleil

On Sunday Blake and I went to see Cirque du Soleil in Seattle. It was amazing. I wish that I could have taken pictures of the actual show but they would not allow it. This is the tent in the background that the show was in.

NEW YORK

New York was so much fun! We got there on Saturday and left on Tuesday! Our hotel was in Times Square! On Saturday night my mom and I went to see the Little Mermaid on Broadway! It was amazing! On Sunday we walked 11 1/2 hours! Talking about my feet hurting. We went to Central Park, The Brooklyn Bridge, China Town, Little Italy, The Rockefeller Center, Ground Zero, St. Patricks Cathedral and I cant forget The Naked Cowboy. And we shopped until we dropped. Literally! On Monday we went to the Upper East side, and SOHO. We did so much i can barely remember where all we went. I know you are probably wondering if we saw the Statue of Liberty! We were going to because I wanted to see it so so bad! But we heard from a girl in a shop that we shouldn't waste our time because it is so little. And the only way to get there is by a boat that took 2 hours. So we decided not to go and see it and just shop a little more! So we found a Statue of Liberty on the street and took a picture with it! One of the ladies that went with us lived in New York for 6 years. So she was our tour guide. So we basically just followed her! ha ha! It was so much fun! In the last picture is all the girls that went! My mom, Janet (the one that lived in NY for 6 years), Kristine, and Me.

Sniper School gone bad

Well Blake went down to Ft. Benning, Georgia and once he was there he was told that there were too many people scheduled to be in the class. They sent him back to Washinton and he will be trying at Sniper School again, but this time he will be in Washington. Sniper School is coming up to Ft. Lewis! YAY for us! It is the same thing as if he were in Georgia, but it will only be 4 weeks instead of 5 and he can come home every night! So that is my favorite part! Sorry it has taken me so long but I have been so busy! I will update on Blake and sniper school in May!

Happy Early Birthday Blake

Well on April 14th, Blake will be turning 24. Since he will be in Sniper school on his birthday i decided to celebrate it before he left. So On April 4th I surprised him with a cake and some presents! After we went out to eat with some of our friends and went to a karaoke bar with some other people! Oh fun times before he left!

Leaving Washington

Well it is almost time! Blake will be leaving Washington on Saturday for Sniper school! He will be going to Fort Benning, GA, where he will be gone for 5 weeks! He will get there on Saturday and process through and go to the shooting range on Sunday. He has to do well at the shooting range because if he doesn't he will be disqualified. So pray that he does well! Then on Monday he will have to pass his Physical Training Test, if he does not pass then he will be disqualified, so be praying for him on Monday too! He will graduate on May 9th.

I will be leaving on Monday to go to Alabama. Since I do not have a job at the moment I thought that this would be a great opportunity to go home and see my family! Which I am so excited! My mom and I will be going to New York on April 12th through April 15th. I cannot wait to go! I have never been to New York but Blake tells me that I will love it!

I will be able to see Blake while he is in sniper school, so I will update later and maybe with some pictures!

Hi

Hi! Blake & I decided that since Robyn & Nick are blogging we might as well do it too! I am not sure how this whole blogging thing really works! It might take us a while to really get our page going! Blake and I live in Lakewood, Washington. We got married 7 months ago, Blake is in the Army and I am a stay at home wife for the time being. I plan on getting a job once everything settles down and I am not going home every other month for a wedding! We are loving that the weather is getting better here and we cant wait for summer. I hope everyone enjoys our page!
